Summit Automotive opened its first bay in downtown Springfield in 2008 with a single goal: give local drivers an auto care shop they could trust the way they trust their own mechanic — the kind who explains the problem before quoting the repair.
Over the next fifteen years, that reputation grew through word of mouth. We added our Westside location in 2014, then Northgate in 2019, now serving Springfield, Chatham, and the surrounding communities with 3 full-service locations and a team of ASE-certified technicians.
We've never chased volume over quality. Every vehicle gets an honest assessment, every estimate is explained in plain language, and no work starts without your go-ahead. That's been true since day one — and it's the only way we know how to operate.
